Professor,
I thoroughly enjoyed the panel. The parts about their experiences with interviewees were really good. I learned that my (what I think is) great personality will take me a long way. The panel gave an overall good feel of what its like to be in the position that they are in and how they got there. Very helpful for anyone who might be considering a career in b2b marketing. My partners and I are participating in the Entrepreneurship contest, our business idea is marketing/advertising related. It was great to see the types of people who we will hopefully be dealing with one day.

Hello, Prof. Lichtenthal.
I greatly enjoyed taking part of the B2B panel. What made me happy and very optimistic is the fact that all four representatives are extremely successful and bright professionals, as well as regular, down to earth people. I say optimistic, because they made me believe that you don't necessarily have to have it all in the beginning, but that you actually build up your own career from scratch and learn from every experience along the way.
Thank you for initiating/moderating this conversation. It was very inspiring!
Sincerely,
Blaga Slaveykova
I did not stay for the whole session but enough to hear everyone's bio. I really liked the IBM lady because she was very real. I mean she was more like a typical Baruch student when she was in school. A student who was working throughout college. I liked her a lot because it gave me some hope. I thought she was very honest and very inspiring! She showed me that good work will eventually pay off! She reminded me of myself because she was clueless once she finished college. Now, she is a successful women who is running a big corporation. We should have more people like her.

In my opinion it was extremely helpful meeting. I was impressed by how "open" and approachable the speakers were. However, I think that among the four speakers . . . I was impressed the most by Deidre Bigley (IBM) and Rob Goulding (Google). They seemed like they have infinite amount of knowledge and extremely big experience even though they looked young.

I think that this was a great panel, it felt good to see a woman there. When there are events like this, many times there are no female speakers, it was nice to hear about her experience in business. I think it would have been better to have an equal number of women as men on the panel. It would have also been nice to hear about her experience as a woman in the business world since it is often difficult for a woman to get into a high powered position even in the current times.

(Prof L notes: I indicated to her (and this has come up in earlier panels) that there is no preselection based on any demographic; rather panel members appear subject to their time availability) and, I also indicated that was striking to me . . . "the whole panel spoke well and, with respect for everyone present . . ."
I really enjoyed the event. The information about the different companies they worked for was useful (for example the culture in Google). I also found the stories behind how these successful executives for large companies got to their positions very interesting and helpful. Finally, I found the interview and job advice to be helpful.

I felt like it was very informative. The advice they gave on interviewing was to me, invaluable. Also they provided me with an idea of what the work world might entail.
